Our journey began in the fall of 1996 with a big white and lemon setter named Buck. I lived in a bird rich environment and got to watch wild birds develop that dog(and myself) into being bird hunters. That beginning cultivated a passion for wild bird hunting and wild bird dogs.
Today we are a full time training kennel, with our main focus on developing young dogs to become wild bird dogs. We train on prerelease and wild birds, giving dogs the experience and contacts they need.
For 90 days every fall/winter we put our own dogs in front of clients guiding wild quail hunts on the historic Bar B Ranch in the Oklahoma panhandle. The expectation we have of a dog is high. Our dogs need to be tough, durable, smart, and biddable. When we breed dogs, which isn’t often we are breeding proven wild bird dogs to proven wild bird dogs.
